We specialize in late model truck transmissions, but also provide full diagnostic and rebuild capabilities for cars as well. We are ASE certified, and we really know how to build automatic transmissions.  We specialize in automatic transmissions and knowing what destroyed the transmission. Remember when purchasing a rebuilt transmission, it would probably be in your best interest to research the operation of an automatic transmission in order to better understand what you are purchasing. Price is a small measuring tool when it comes to the selection of who is repairing your transmission. Basically price is the most inaccurate way to measure quality. It actually could have little effect on the final product. Price does not measure honesty, quality, or integrity. 

Every rebuilt transmission comes with a warranty for a reason. The reason is to provide you with piece of mind, the reason we can do this is because we are knowledgeable, use new transmission parts, and a rebuilt transmission torque converter on every transmission rebuild.

We also offer free transmission diagnostics on all 93 and newer vehicles and we have the proper tools to get the job done.

The Transmission Garage believes when dealing with doctors, lawyers, and mechanics the tendency should be to question the motives of the individuals profitting. At the Transmission Garage my motive is clear, to be the best transmission shop you have ever dealt with, and perhaps the only. I use new parts to insure you receive a quality job. I provide a warranty as assurance, this is not a time line of how long your transmission should work. Our rebuilt transmissions should last as long as the original, if properly maintained.

Warranty Info

Every transmission in a non-commercial vehicle is covered by a 3 year 36,000 miles warranty

Although the warranty is to protect the customer, I have decided to be straight forward about what destroys transmissions and what is not covered by the warranty.

• Overheating  (ie. low radiator)
• Wrong gear ratio (ie. big tires, without changing rear end gears)
• Stuck in 3rd (ie. no power to trans, blown fuse)
• Low fluid (Check Fluid regularly)
• Towing in OD (check owners manual)
• Bad Transfer case
• Bad differential
• Bad driveshaft (out of balance cracks cases)
• Vibration (breaks cases)

The warranty is to insure you have a properly built transmission with new parts, not an effort to correct ignorance or stupidity. Commercial vehicles  and all other vehicles not accepting transmission coolers will require a 25% deductible.
